do you spell "suckiest night ever", A-P-D?
got pulled over tonight by an off duty cop (followed by four squad cars and upwards of 6 more cops) for texting while driving. the officer tailed me from NB trammway at lomas to montegomery and wyoming. he claims he thought i was drunk because i was drifting over the median line. road-side aerobics + plus a breathalizer (which read 0.000 by the way) was my heated, passionate, breathless, tonsil tennis, friday night. each of the cops took their turn asking me what i had to drink. telling them "nothing" solved nothing.
two motorcycle races occured less than 100 yards from the 6+ cops kicking tires swearing at me and mocking me, my age, my offence, and the make of my car (while fabricating lies about traction loss) in the 45 minutes it took to issue me a ticket/court-apearance-mandate for careless driving. after which the on-duty cops proceeded to hit on two college age girls near the border of the Satellite/Shell Station parking lot, wowing them with precautions to take if shooting broke out. the giggling girls ran, breasts a-bouncing, towards the cops yelling, "holy shit, why are all those cops here?! is there a drug bust?!" the cops threatened to detain me for wasting their time (seeing as four cruisers responded) and then proceeded to reinform me that i was "driving like an ass-hole"
One friendly cop gave me my ticket and told me when my court date was. he politely told me how to reschedule the court date due to travel. asked me if i understood and then told me to have a great night, a pleasentry which, albeit merely that, was the only respectful treatment i received. granted i'm the texting criminal who called down the cherry-top rain, but i certainly was not presumed innocent of my initial charge (DUI), nor was i treated politely (save the one).
and to top off the night clive pissed on my carpet . . . again. i think that cat is as cute as anything but i have no problems taking him back because he refuses to piss in the litter box. i have 2 litter boxes and 2 types of litter in 2 locations in my (small and easy to to navigate) house. i have feline specific cleaner, feliway pheromone which induces territorial satisfaction to eliminate marking. i've punished him, enouraged him, rewarded good behavior, handled it calmly, handled it loudly, and am having unrinalysis done to check for infections. vet thinks it's a behavioral problem, which, unfortunately, i can't seem to mend. i love clive as much as an emotionally detached person can muster in 2 weeks, but i'll be happy to have a normal smelling home and a kitten in an adoption clinic, over carpet/toilet and cuteness out the wazoo any day! I'll give it one more week.
